The station is ideally located being only a few minutes from Junction 2 of the M25. It is also close to the M20, M2 and A2.... close to the Bluewater Shopping Centre.

A variety of pre-departure services are available at the station including cafe's and a newsagents.

By the end of 2009 Southeastern Railways will offer direct services to the station making it even more accessible. This is currently supplemented by bus connections until the rail connection is up and running.
